C&B Fire Department is currently accepting applications for Career, Part-time, and Volunteer positions for all stations. We are seeking members with a passion for serving the Ladson, Summerville, and Pringletown communities.

C&B Fire Department is a combination department with both paid and volunteer personnel. Advancement opportunities exist for all types of paid and volunteer members up through the Assistant Chief of Department.

We staff three stations daily with career and part-time staff. Space is always available for volunteers to join an apparatus or to staff additional apparatus. Our Pringletown station relies on the support of volunteer staff to respond directly to the scene to support the crew on duty.

All applicants must pass a background check, and suppression personnel must pass a physical.
